Slow Cooker Turkey Soup
16 ozs turkey light meat, skinless, cooked and cubed 1/2 c onions, chopped 16 ozs canned dark red kidney beans, drained 2 stalks celery, chopped 15 ozs tomato sauce 3 cloves garlic, chopped 29 ozs no-salt-added diced tomatoes 2 c water 4 ozs mushrooms in jar, drained 1 tbsp Italian seasoning 1/2 c bell peppers, chopped combine turkey, beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, celery, garlic cloves, water, and Italian seasoning. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for four hours, or until vegetables are tender. I leave mine on Low for 6-8 hours sometimes also. Makes 8 servings. 164 calories and 3 grams fat |
